[Nome-announce] Small Group Lessons: Scales/Solos

Hello Nomeites,  

We are planing small group lessons at Bearing Song.  Monday, September 8 is our first. The class will be on scales and how to apply them to playing solos. This is to help guitar players, like myself, who play songs but have little knowledge if any about how to play a solo.  Scales are also great exercises to become acquainted with other areas on the neck of your guitar, liberate your fingers, and gain skill in finger placement. 

Scott Foster, who has been doing shows at Airport Pizza and performs extensively in the lower 48, has agreed to be our teacher. He is an excellent player and an experienced teacher.  

The cost is $20 
The time is 7-8:30pm Monday September 8 (normally lessons are $20 for 1/2 hour so this is a real bargain!)
Because of the limited space PRE-REGISTRATION is a must.
